Warriors of Wrestling 8th Year Anniversary Show
Live from Staten Island, NY

7 out of 10

Show opens with President Joe Bellini thanking the fans and welcoming them to the 8 year anniversary show. He made sure to thank the doubters and haters that said he wouldn’t last 1 season 7 years ago. He also said the show on April 9th will be the promotions 100th show!
Match #1
  • Style N Fineness took on The Perfect Strangers
In a surprise the kids (PS) kept up with the seasoned veterans in a back and forth match.  The Perfect Strangers are showing much improvement over the months. After a double super kick, the Perfect Stranger went on to take the win via pin.

Match 2
  • Mike Lowe Vs TJ Marconi
In a match that at times was very sloppy. This was very unlike Marconi’s normal match. The match was all TJ early but then the smaller Mike took the advantage. Marconi using old school hammered down on Lowe but only to tweak his knee. Lowe capitalized by attacking the leg.TJ then superplexed Lowe in a stranger and sloppy combination of moves. TJ wasn’t able to make the count of 10 and was counted out giving Lowe the win.

Match #3
  • No Limits Championship Match
"Bonesaw" Jessie Brooks (champ) Vs Darius Carter
In a very physical match inside and outside the ring Carter brought everything to the champ Brooks. The Hostile Collective rushed the ring to run interference but to no avail. Brooks’s downfall was a chance to end it with a chair shot and elected to play it fair. Carter hit the foreclosure for the win and became the new and 2 time No Limits Champion.

Match #4
  • Triple Threat match, Sonny Kiss Vs J George, Vs Joey Ace
The match starts off with the unpredictable one J George accusing Sonny of having ass implants. The match saw a lot of action technically and otherwise. In the end it was Joey Ace hitting a flying elbow on J George and picking up the win via pin.

Match #5
  • Street Fight, Joey B Vs Logan Black
This match was the WTF did I just witness match of the night. Joey B immediately opened it up in the most physical way he knew how. He led Logan to the outside, tossing Black into the barricades, the ring post, the front door, the walls of Fun Station, back inside, off the walls, off the metal loading dock gate, and eventually power bombing him on the floor. We even had a Sully’s arm siting from Monsters Inc. That was used to batter and bruise Black some more. When the action returns to the ring Black finally was able to gain control and muster up some offense. In the closing moments Joey B rolled up Black for the win. After the match Logan Black attacked Joey B from behind out of frustration. Out of nowhere music hit and out of the curtain stepped Jay Reynolds, the former tag team partner of Joey B when they were the Wife Beaters. Needless to say they took care of business and Black was properly disposed of.

  • INTERMISSION

Match #6
  • Abdul Nasir, Just N’eph & Katred (Hostile Collective) Vs Team Caucasian & Jose Glitz & Glamour 2.0 & Jose Maddox.
In a ridiculous parody of former WOW Superstars Jarred Foster, Steve Sterling, and Josh Maddox, Team Caucasian decided to recreate them selves again. Sporting the blinking glasses and the patent Maddox high fives G&G2.0 stormed the ring to the shock of the Hostile Collective. The match wasn’t anything to write home about but it did have its hilarity. In the end Foster & Sterling pressed Maddox in the air and dropped him on top of Katred for the splash and pin. At least Jose was happy! After the match the original Josh Maddox stormed the ring to high five everyone!

 Match #7
  • The Man Of Steel Chris Steeler Vs TNA Superstar Bobby Roode
This match was the match of the night. No offense to the champion James Riley of course. I have become a huge fan of Steeler’s work especially with top notch brought in talent. This match was wrestling! Back & forth hammer locks, chin locks, and arm bars. Both competitors appreciating each other’s ability. But of course things got personal. Steeler hit Roode with a superkick literally knocking the taste out of his mouth. Roode is a Roode Bomb only to have Steeler kick out. Roode locked in the sharpshooter but Steeler managed to get to the ropes. The match would eventually come to an end with Bobby Roode pinning Steeler with his feet on the ropes. The ref did not see it, so it goes into the books as a win for the IT Factor, Bobby Roode.

Match #8
  • Past & Present Battle Royal- Won by Juba

Match #9
  • MAIN EVENT, Title Vs Career. Rude Boy Riley (champ) Vs Jason Karloff
The match didn’t even start for the tension to begin. The two in a dead stare down for about 45 seconds before the bell rang, and Riley sprung to action. Riley attacked early hoping to end it early knowing the longer the match went the more in favor it went towards Karloff. Kicks, chops, and knees were flying from Riley. At one point after gaining control Karloff held Riley in a vertical suplex for 15 seconds before crashing down. In an odd point of the match Karloff missed a off the top rope moonsault landing awkwardly on his shoulder. He looked to be down and out but he got to his feet and speared Riley as he was coming off the top rope. He then superplex reversed into a powerbomb Riley on the chair, but James kicked out again. Riley had enough and nailed Karloff with 3 straight GTS’s before Karloff hit the mat. Riley covered for the win and ended Karloff’s WOW career and retained his championship. In a sign of appreciation the entire locker room exited and entered the ring to show their appreciation for all the hard work Jason Karloff has put in the business. You don’t have to love him, hell you don’t even have to like him, but you have to respect the Sleepy Hollow native for all his blood, sweat, and tears he gave to Warriors of Wrestling.

The show closed out with the fans chanting “Thank You Karloff”.
