#d365 Has To Say Goodbye To One Of Its First Touring Family Members

We all learned earlier today that wrestling universe lost yet another professional wrestler way too young. Brian Knighton Aka Axl Rotten originally of ECW passed away at the age of 44. Axl has battled personal demons from alcohol, to pills, to heroine. Earlier in 2015 he was hospitalized for an overdose and was in a wheelchair for 3 months until he was able to physically rehab. Axl looked like he was on the mend and doing well. We wont know what the cause of death was until the coroners do their reports, but of course people could safely assume drugs were the demon that ended it all.

Knighton tweeted out a cryptic message earlier today that could of been construed as his way of saying goodbye. Whether it was or wasn't Axl left us way too early. damage365 Radio and the Indy Supershow had the pleasure of bringing Axl Rotten and Pitbull Gary Wolf to Legends of the Ring & Wrestle Spectacular 3D in 2014. We heard some great stories, had some great times, and shared a lot of laughs. RIP Axl, you will be missed by all.

There will be a 10-bell salute this Sunday on the Indy Supershow which airs live from Sand Diego, California at 5pm EST 2pm PST
